Timor-Leste - Young people and students watch the live streaming of the final stage of the DBGYFF 2023
Timor-Leste - October 2023 - On 14 October, the Social Communication team in the Salesian Vice-Province of Timor-Leste (TLS), organised the participation of young people and students in the final phase of the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival 2023, streamed live from Los Angeles. The theme of this second edition of the DBGYFF focuses on love that builds peace and solidarity. The students come from the São Francisco de Sales Philosophical Institute and the Escola Maria Auxiliadora Comoro. The film screening took place in the postnovitiate community and in the meeting room of the Maria Auxiliadora school. After the screening of some films, a film review was made by the students, capturing the central messages for their lives as well. Thailand - Thai Youth participate in the final phase of the DBGYFF 2023

Colombia – 10th Festival of Talents at 'City of Don Bosco': where dreams come true!

Brazil – Students from the Dom Bosco Catholic University win eighth place at the DBGYFF
Campo Grande, Brazil – October 2023 – Students Gabriel Nazareth Mendes, Carolinne França Olmedo, Loren Queiroz Garcia da Cruz, Stefany Aparecida Silva Dutra and Juliana Lino, from the Design course at the Dom Bosco Catholic University (UCDB), ranked eighth globally in the competition known as the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival (DBGYFF), edition 2023. The students took part in the festival by presenting a short film entitled "Nothing is lost", made as part of the "Illustration and digital animation" course, led by Prof. Gabriel Ferraciolli Soares.
