Councillor for Social Communication
Rev. Fr. Gildásio Dos Santos Mendes, is the Councillor for Social Communication for the worldwide Don Bosco Network. Born in Brazil, and with various experiences and responsibilities held, he also possesses his doctorate from the Wayne State University, United States. He is the author of a number of books on art, new technologies and new evangelization. He is also a member of the International Communication Association, the Society for the Psychological Study of Social Issues and the National Communication Association. He is a Communication expert and heads all the Communication related activities and initiatives of the Don Bosco network and its members, optimizing the resources of media and communication for the common good.
